I came here for lunch with my family during our Vegas trip. We walked in and we were greeted with the smell of food, but that's it. We had seat ourselves, grab our own plates, and menus.
We had no problem ordering, even though there was a language barrier but we basically just pointed to pictures. He was saying okay to every request, like waters and stuff, but I don't think he understood very well. Like we would ask "does the food come with rice or is it separate?" And he just kept continuously saying okay?????
When the food came, we asked for another bowl of duck sauce and he literally took a rice bowl and just poured it in there SUPER messy and got it all over the table. BUT the food ended up being super delicious and we finished our plates. The only thing is that service was terrible, and was basically the bare minimum. So if you don't care about service and just want some pretty good Chinese food go for it, this place is perfect for you. -

Dafiently different from the sam woo in La, pricy, food taste like shit.
They automatically add tips into total. So be aware. -

Yeah, the rating on this place is pretty accurate, sadly. The food really did taste uninspired and the service was lackluster. I suppose with all of the other Asian restaurants in the area this one falls a bit short. It really is a shame though because it is in a good location right at the mall, but it may be past its prime.
I really hope that they are able to rejuvenate their restaurant and put forth something with more passion. They may be going through a rough patch at the moment, but I hope they find a way make things better. -

My favorite dishes to get here are the Yang Chow fried rice, black bean fish, and their Chinese broccoli with hoisin sauce! Yummy!

I have ordered food to take home from this place on many occasions, so this time I want to take an opportunity to sit in and really experience what Sam Woo had to offer.
There is a large dining area and if you sit at one of the larger tables it may be of benefit because you have enough room for all the large dishes of delectable goodness they bring to you.
Service is hit-or-miss due to language barriers but they try their best it seems. The food arrives in ample portions and as expected it tasted wonderful and authentic.
This is your typical Chinatown atmosphere, large families eating and having fun, lots of natural light coming through the windows and the awesome aroma of your order being prepared. I can only equate this experience to every other experience I've had at a Chinatown restaurant and its a positive experience that I wouldn't trade for the world.
If you haven't eaten in Chinatown yet, this would be a top pick if you are a fan of Chinese food like I am
